We had change to go photographer Tessa on POROK cat show. I am more than pleased with results, such wonderful moments she managed to capture. I’am huge fan of hers.
And show itself was great again, sooo well organiced. Moggi cats had excellent valuations (some super was seen too on baby Kimi’s valuation) . Some got their certifications, some were BIV and weekends best Moggi was kitten Jam Balaya, BIV and NOM both days class 12.

Supreme Champion FI* Moggi Carpe Dajm
We had amazing cat show weekend in Harstad Norway 2-3.6.2018. We came back with one Supreme Champion, and three International Champions. Kitten showed us that she has potential for anything, playful and happy puppy through whole trip.
I had two females who were forced to go abroad on cat show if thinking going any further ever here in Finland. I had earlier decided to take along one my older lady and one kitten. Lovely news was that Marianne decided come with me to Norway with Moggi Iiris Kohvee and Kapsu. Trip was looong but went well. We arrived to Norway in time and in good health and very excited.
What a day Saturday was, young females Moggi Ginger Ale a Jakta Est and Moggi Ice Dream both got CACIB and became International Champion, kitten Jam Balaya was EX 1 and got lovely evaluation and our Carpe Dajm had CACS, she was best in variety and nominated for Best in Show by Judge Friškovec Thea.
Sunday was new day, and even more amazing than Sunday. Mariannes Moggi Iiris Kohvee got her third CACIB and she became International Champion. Girls got their EX1 and certifications and kitten Jam Balaya was EX 1 and got again very lovely evaluation.
Sunday Moggi Carpe Dajm had EX 1 CACS, and she was again Best in Variety and Nominated for Best in Show by judge Mantovani Gianfranco. Because she had her 9th CACS in class 3 on three different countries Sunday she became Supreme Champion.

We had very funny and lovely weekend there. Moggi kittens had lot of excellent comments. Best of all were this weekend FI Moggi Ice Dream. She was Best In Variety on both days, and I must say that competition was not easy this time. Super gorgeous adult cats in group VIII. Her room mate Champion Moggi Ginger Ale a Jakta Est had EXcellent valuations from judges I respect. She got her CACIB-certification on both days. Now she has to travel if we want to continue going on cat shows.

Her sisters had fun having competition between each other on same group on Sunday. Winner and best in variety (kittens) was Moggi Iiris Kohvee. Everyone were Excellent, but only one can be winner.

Their father FI IC ZiBaZoon Dominus Maximus was BEST in SHOW breeding male on both days. He was only one in category II 😀 😀 and he was NOM for BIS on Saturday.
Our other young male got his GAGCIP certifications and RU* Unicum Lucifer became Grand International Champion.

- IC FI* ZiBaZoon Dominus Maximus( breeding male 3.).

International Cat show results in Finland, the ranking of Kissaliitto
Results of the finnish FIFe cat association Suomen Kissaliitto ry ranking 2017 are very much ready. Kissaliitto includes results only from International Finnish cat shows. There is going to be rankings of breed club and member clubs of Kissaliitto too. Clubs have little differences on how ranking results are formed.
Our mister IC RU* Unicum Lucifer is The best kitten(young) of all Maine Coons in Finland year 2017( includes classes 12 and 11).
He moved to compete with adults in july and he is also third best adult male Maine Coon in Kissaliittos Finnish ranking this year.

Another surprice is to see our IC FI* ZiBaZoon Dominus Maximus in place 4 on breeding males of Maine Coons.
IC FIMoggi Fanni Sapuska is 10th best adult female Maine Coon year 2017.
Addition to these members on top ten Maine Coons IC FI Moggi Essi Kabanossi is 16th and IC FI Moggi Dry Marttiini is 20th of adult Maine Coon females, IC FI Moggi Elvis Persilja is 17th of adult Maine Coon males, his bro CH FI Moggi Enor Mousse is 19th of adult Maine Coon males, and FI Moggi Herkules Rinkeli is 19th of all Maine Coon kittens. CH FI Moggi Ginger Ale a Jakta Est is 26 th of adult females, IC FI ZiBaZoon Dominus Maximus is 43 th of adult males and Moggi Ginger Ale a Jakta Est, Moggi Iiris Kohvee and Moggi Ice Dream 47 th of all Maine Coon kittens.

Sunday another joyful day in Kuopio. My handsome male Unicum Lucifer CAGCIB and BIV (7th for him) and ZiBaZoon Dominus Maximus CAGCIB and Best Breeding male category II again.
Females Moggi Ginger Ale A Jakta Est CAC and she is brand new Moggi Champion, Moggi IceDream Ex1 and two other Moggi girls Iiris Kohvee EX1 and Hanna Tädinkakku Ex1 all with excellent valuations.

Pentutehtailussa ei ole mitään hyvää
Pentutehtailulla pyritään vain rahallisesti tuottavaan toimintaan. Tämä ei onnistu asianmukaisella harrastuspohjaisella kasvatustoiminnalla, koska se maksaa. Tehtailija säästää laiminlyömällä sääntöjä, määräyksiä, terveystestaamista ja eläinten hyvinvointia. Tunnistat pentutehtailijan mm. siitä, että muka rotupennulle et saa rekisterikirjaa, koska se nostaisi pennun hintaa.
Hyödyt sen, että Sinä saat pennun halvemmalla, mutta tehtaan eläimet jatkavat tukemaasi elämäntapaa.
- pentutehtailua on rekisteröimättömien muka rotukissojen lisäännyttäminen milloin mistäkin tekosyystä eli pennuilla ei ole eikä tule olemaan rekisterikirjaa
- pentutehtailua ovat tehtailijan mix-luomukset
- pennut luovutetaan liian varhain
- pennut ovat yleensä madottamattomat, rokottamattomat vaikka toisin väitetään
- pentueen vanhempien terveyttä ei ole tutkittu mitenkään
- pahimmassa tapauksessa tehtailija yhdistää kaksi, jotka testaamalla olisi todettu sairauksia lisääväksi yhdistelmäksi ja siten sopimattomaksi
- pentueita tehdään naaraalla joka kiimaan mahdollisimman suuren tuoton toivossa
- pentujen/emän ruokintaan ei satsata, pennut eivät ole tottuneet käsittelyyn eikä käyneet eläinlääkärillä pentuetarkastuksessa
- pentutehdas ei anna minkäänlaista dokumenttia väitteidensä tueksi ja jos antaakin ne voivat olla tekaistut
- pentueen vanhemmilla tai toisella ei ole niiden kasvattajalta lupaa lisäännyttää
- rahat saatuaan tehtailijat painuvat maan alle eivätkä kanna minkäänlaista vastuuta pennuista sen jälkeen
Asianmukainen kasvattaja asettaa aina eläimen hyvinvoinnin etusijalle, maksoi mitä maksoi. Asianmukainen kasvattaja:
- rekisteröi pennut koska noudattaa kissaliiton ja rotuyhdistyksen sääntöjä sekä tavoitteita ja rekisteröinnissä ei tule ongelmia
- on hankkinut kissat oikealta kasvattajalta ja valikoidusti sekä valikoi tarkoin jalostukseen käytettävät kissat niiden hyvien ominaisuuksien perusteella, pelkkä kauneus ei riitä
- käy kasvatukseen käytettävien kissojen ja niiden jälkeläisten kanssa näyttelyssä kymmeniä kertoja ja ulkomaita myöten saadakseen palautetta kasvatussuuntauksestaan
- ylläpitää ja kehittää rotua sen standardin, terveyden ja luonteen huomioiden
- on terveystestannut kasvatukseen käytetyt kissat laajasti
- satsaa kaikkien kissojensa ja pentujen hyvinvointiin, ruokintaan ja terveyteen
- panostaa pentujen sosiaalistamiseen ja opettaa käsittelyyn
- luovuttaa pennut aikaisintaan 12-viikon iässä, madotettuna ja asianmukaisesti rokotettuna
- ei häviä kuin pieru saharaan pennun lähdettyä uudelle omistajalle
Messukeskus ja kissanäyttelyssä
Olihan se syy mikä tahansa.. kokous, itse näyttely, kokemusta nuorille niin kyllä matka Kajaanista Helsinkiin on raskas. Onneksi näyttelyssä oli ihana nähdä muitakin kaheleita ja kuulla ettei kasvatustyö ole mennyt kieroon 🙂
Ensikertalaiset IceDream ja Iiris Kohvee, ja niin reippaana pentuluokassa Ex 1.
Ginger Ale a Jakta Est ja CAC. Tämä tytteli sai ekan sertinsä. Lauantai oli kiukku päivä, mutta sunnuntaina näimme taas valloittavan Viccanin.
Herkules Rinkeli, Ex 1 ja BIV, hurmuri poikanen vei jalkoja alta.
Ja ihana Lupsu, IC Unicum Lucifer sai molempina päivinä sertit luokassaan( CAGCIB).
