Some happy show news from ISROK 21.5.2023, BEST IN SHOW Breeding female Moggi Pottu Bindi, DM to GIC ZiBaZoon Dominus Maximus and new International Champion Moggi Sikuri Sakari.
21.5.2023 was 6 th birthday of I-kittens, and same time 26 years registering Moggi cattery name.
We had a wonderful time in Kuopio with 12 Moggi cats ( ever before so many) and 6 of them were cute kittens 
. Two-certificates in one day. Everyone got Excellent judgments and all babies behaved nicely and were promising. Moggi Pottu Bindi was BEST IN SHOW breeding female, YAnis Lambert was Nominated to BEST IN SHOW by Daria Lukasik and had her vote in panel. Best In Variety was SuccheRolle x2, Yum Coen x2, Nekku the Numa x1, YAnis Lambert x.
Moggi Sikuri Sakari became International Champion and the same time his father got the title Distinguished Merity(DM).

One very happy and joyful Caturday on catshow Seinäjoki 3.9.2022(POH-KIS)
In this 2 certificates cat show, Moggi cats got 3 Nominations for Best In Show. Moggi Jam Balaya, Moggi Vilja and Moggi Nekku the Num !!! Everyone had excellent judgments! Thank you owners, of Moggi cats, for these super results again! Quite well-organized douple-certification show, the place was a bit difficult, but there was a nice atmosphere and lovely judges and special thanks to our great stewards. , Etna = GIC FI*Moggi OrWokki JW DVM . She got the title Grand International Champion on Saturday 23.7.2022 when she was Best of Best on MCO Breed BIS show and the next day she got the title Distinguished Variety Merit(ten times Best In Variety). I’m so happy

We had the most exciting weekend in Lahti SUROK cat show 23.7.2022 – 24.7.2022. There were about 120 Maine Coons on Saturday’s Breed BIS show, a super atmosphere. I will never forget the magic and drama of it. I’m proud of every Moggi baby who was there and more proud I’m of their super owners and homes. Thank you loved ones. Also, it was great to see so many friends after a long time. Very happy weekend with family and friends. Congratulations to Nekku for Premior title and we are also very happy for our new International Champion Noppa.

IC Moggi OrWokki JW – BEST OF BEST – Maine Coon 23.7.2022 in Breed BIS cat show.
After a long break, we had Breed BIS in Finland 23.7.2022. Our Maine Coon club worked hard to make it more memorable than ever because it was actually part of a club’s 30-year party(2021). SUROK had perfect surroundings and the day was literally HOT.
The competition was known to be tough so best in variety and the nomination from Michael Edström was a lovely surprise.
Best In Show Moggi OrWokki won with all votes from three wise men, Veikko Saarela, Youssef Khaled and Michael Edström. We were high and happy :). Best of Best among all BIS winners came with votes 2/1. Thank you, judges. There were about 120 Finnish maine coons in this competition, so the result is even more delicious than any other BIS ever.

We had the rare opportunity to have pictures taken by Tessa in ISROK cat Show Kuopio. Kittens Moggi Xania Namia, Moggi Xenja Loora, Moggi Wanna Bee Honey, and adult Moggi SamppaAnja posed nicely even Samppa was very shy. Kitten Moggi Wonton Wolfie was in the Scandinavian Winner show and his pictures are from there.
Näyttelyuutisia ja upeita kuvia
Kissanäyttelyjä on kuluvana vuonna (2021) Suomessakin pidetty ja mukana on ollut myös valokuvaaja Tessa. Ohessa muutama kiva Tessan ottama kuva Best In Show paneeleista.
Ensimmäisenä on kuvia SC Moggi Jam Balayasta. ”Jamppa” saavutti Ery-Sydin näyttelyssä korkeimman tittelin mitä leikkaamaton kissa voi saada. Jamppa valmistui 13.12.2021 Supreme Championiksi ollen tuona päivän myös tuomarin paras aikuinen naaras. Paneelissa tämä lady käyttäytyy arvokaasti ja lähes esittää itse itsensä. Suuri kiitos Elinalle tästäkin kissan esittämisestä.
Seuraavissa kuvissa on IC Moggi OrWokki JW. ”Etna” valmistui International Championiksi 2.10.2021 Tampereella. Etna ei taas tapansa mukaan viihdy näyttelyareenoilla, mutta välillä sietää ko hömpötykset. Iloksemme Etna nappasi pari BEST IN SHOW voittoa, varsin kovatasoisissa kilpailuissa. Ensimmäinen BIS tuli 23.10.2021 URK:in todella kivasti järjestetyssä näyttelyssä kahdella äänellä neljästä, jossa muut saivat yhden tai ei yhtään ääntä. Toinen BIS TUROKin kahden sertin näyttelyssä 28.11.2021 kolmella äänellä viidestä, jossa toinen kissa sai kaksi ja muut eivät saaneet yhtään ääntä.
Etnaa ovat voitokkaasti paneelissa esittäneet Elina ja Eeva-Leena, josta taas kiitokset molemmille huippu assistentille.
PawPeds tilastojen mukaan HCM esiintyvyys Maine Coonilla on vähäinen
Maine Coon kissojen terveyttä on ahkerasti tutkittu. Kaikki testitulokset eivät tilastoidu ja ne jotka tilastoituvat päätyvät eri kohteisiin; PawPedsiin, OFA:aan, Omakissaan tai rotuyhdistyksen omaan rekisteriin ym. Tässä olen kurkannut PawPedsistä ladattaviin MCO terveystietoihin Health Data Download 12.8.2021 ja väänsin tulokset kaavioksi.
Lähteestä ladattavien HCM testitulosten perusteella HCM esiintyvyys on pientä ja normaalin tuloksen saaneita kissoja todella paljon. Vuosittaiset testausmäärät ovat kymmenkertaistuneet, mutta eriasteiset HCM diagnoosit ovat pysyneet samana, ellei jopa vähentyneet. Huomattava tietenkin on, ettei jokainen tulos PawPedsin tietokantaan päädy.
Tuloksista on myös suuri osa muualta kuin Suomesta, mutta HCM:n osalta PawPeds on ainakin Moggi kissoilla, se paikka, jonne HCM tulokset päätyvät. Sydänultrissa Moggi kissoilla ei ole todettu HCM:ää, eikä myöskään tuontikissoiltamme.
Huom* Oheisista kaavioista on 1575 tulosta otettu pois laskuista, koska tiedon PawPedsiin on lähettänyt muu kuin klinikka tai kissan ID ei ole ollut tarkistettu.

Biggest thank’s to Raquel for your hospitality and trusting this super lovely male to me.
I saw this face on facebook, noticed his pedigree and I was sold. Soon I was writing to Raquel and what an lovely surprise was that she thought that Shuki could be mine. I was super happy, planned my trip to Madrid and 3.6.2021 I met most lovely Raquel and her cats including my new baby. Can not thank Raquel enough,we had nice time together, everything was just fine. Sorry that time was short, hope we meet again.
I used KLM for my trip, and it was excellent choise. Trip went well and here home Shuki has been so healthy, brave and lively. Could not have hoped more.
